How many children?

In this conversation, three girls give their opinions about having children.

-    Janet: I'm not going to have children as soon as I get married. I want to travel and enjoy myself first.
-    Susan: I want to have children. But only two. And I would like to have my second child two years after I have had the first.
-    Tènè: I want to have a lot of children.
-    Susan: You can only do that if you have enough money to take care of them.
-    Tènè: I’d rather be poor with lots of children than be rich with only one child.
